CRESTS is a culture-centered, trauma-informed care program designed for educators, parents, and clinicians that counters race-based trauma and continuous traumatic stress experienced by Black children. The logo is inspired by osrane, the West African Adinkra symbol that refers to the moon. Osrane’s significance bears the phrase “It takes the moon sometime to go around the nation”, which aligns with the CRESTS goal to bring together people who are committed to transforming the lives of Black children.
